Rickshaw trip comes to Bay

CRYSTAL Davis had a hard-earned thirst after she cycled to the Torquay finish line of her world-record breaking rickshaw journey.

Riding to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention, Ms Davis had journeyed from Port Douglas to Hervey Bay along the Bruce HWY from mid-October.

Completed Saturday, her trip was recorded as 1672 kilometres on official paper-work.

Ms Davis enjoyed lemonade and met with a cheering crowd of well-wishers at Torquay's Eat @ Dan & Steph's on Saturday.
