TWEETS about #Rio2016 were viewed a staggering 75 billion times, according to Twitter.
More than 187 million tweets were sent about the Games resulting in a total 75 billion impressions of Tweets about the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
And when it comes to the top moment, it wasn't Usain Bolt.
It actually occurred when Brazil won gold in the football.
@neymarjr's game winning penalty kick for Brazil in a shootout vs. #GER in the gold medal football match, pipped Usain Bolt's third 100m gold.
Neymar's goal in regular time in the football final was the third most Tweeted event
Michael Phelps led the Twitter conversation leaderboard with five gold medals.
If Twitter gave out medals, Phelps would win gold, @usainbolt silver, and Neymar Jr. bronze.
From a sports perspective it was swimming that generated the most conversation followed by football and athletics.
Biggest Australian Moments
There was some super moments to be an Aussie fan and we identified the Top 10 Most Tweeted Australian moments.
As expected it was the pool that dominated Aussie conversations with the women's 4x100m Freestyle win taking the mantle, followed by Mack Horton's victory over Sun Yang. The Women's Rugby 7's victory rounded out the top 3.

The top Tweets were dominated by a few of the Olympics familiar superstars - in particular, Usain Bolt, Neymar Jr and American Gymnast Simone Biles.
