Robbers steal air compressor, electronics and treasure box

THIEVES had a field day after robbing an unlocked home and taking off with property including an air compressor, portable drill and a small wooden treasure box.

Criminals have allegedly opened a gate to gain entry to the closed but unlocked door of the home. 

Offenders stole numerous items from the kitchen/dining room area, including a power inverter, two mobile phones, air compressor and portable drill. 

They have then gone into the bedrooms where they have stolen a wifi dock, mobile phone, a pendo tablet, mp3 player, shoebox containing a mix of charges and digital cameras, a small wooden treasure box and a small quantity of various jewellery.

The offender/s have then exited the dwelling through point of entry.

It is unknown to police what direction the criminals took after the break-in.

The incident took place on Byron St between 9am and 3.30pm on October 29.
