Robbery charge dismissed after man waits months for evidence

A MAN accused of robbery had his charge dropped, after waiting months to find out what evidence against him the police were relying on.

Aaron John Leslie Bunt first appeared in court last November, but when there was still not a full brief of evidence prepared on Monday, Magistrate Graeme Tatnell dismissed the charge.

Mr Tatnell noted there had been many adjournments in the case and the prosecution was told on the last occasion there would be no further adjournments if they were not ready to proceed on Monday.
