Hot rod and custom cars to shine at show on Sunday

REV your engines, this year the North Coast Campout is set to take over the Maryborough Showgrounds on April 20.

President of the Hot Rod and Customs Hervey Bay Peter Hollier said the Show and Shine extravaganza was the signature event.

"The Show and Shine is the highlight of the Conrodders North Coast Campout and it is expected to attract over 300 Hot Rod and Custom from across Queensland," he said

"While we are excited about the number of cars that will be attending the Show and Shine the main benefit of running this event is the fundraising opportunity that will directly benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

"The North Coast Campout is growing each year and constantly generating more visitors to attend as word spreads through the hot rodding community of what a great event it is.

"During the Show and Shine there are a number of displays including the Queensland Emergency Services, food vendors, stalls, jumping castle and trade displays."
