Man's 'special tree' given away to Tinana woman

MARYBOROUGH man Boris Mirohna wanted to find a new home for his treasured tree.

He said it was about two years old and was possibly a flame tree.

"It's a special tree, I love the leaves," he said.

Boris said the potted plant needed room and was too big for his small yard.

He asked anyone interested to leave their contact details at the administration desk of the Chronicle's Maryborough office and he would give it to the first person who expressed an interest.

By 9.30am on Friday,  the tree had found a new home with a Tinana woman.
