Sailors arrive for the 36th Bay to Bay yacht race

SAILORS from across the country will sail the Sandy Strait in one Queensland's biggest yacht races this weekend.

The 36th Bay to Bay Yacht Race has attracted 130 entries, which will start at Tin Can Bay on Saturday.

The 90km race, run by Hervey Bay Sailing Club, will see sailors navigate from Tin Can Bay to Garry's Anchorage on Saturday, before finishing in Hervey Bay on Sunday.
