Sanderson says there will be project changes

A WHOLE new council is an "exciting" prospect, according to division four incumbent Daniel Sanderson.

"We will be working with different people at the table," he said.

With the changes, he said he knew there would be different decisions made.

"There will be projects that will definitely come up for decision again," he said.

Cr Sanderson was declared winner of his division on Monday with 43% of the vote. His nearest challenger was Darryl Gleich on 22%.

Cr Sanderson paid his respects to outgoing mayor Gerard O'Connell and said he had done an "exceptional job".

But, he said he was looking forward to working with Chris Loft as the new leader.
