Scitech Explore-a-Saurus exhibition coming
SCITECH'S Explore-a-Saurus exhibition will be set up in Maryborough City Hall from December this year until April next year.
Councillor Chris Loft said it would be a huge attraction for the city.
"The timing will allow the exhibition to take advantage of the six-week Queensland Christmas school holidays as well as the Easter break next year," he said.
Tickets will cost $10 for school-aged children, $12 for adults and $34 for a family of two adults and two or more children.
Cr Loft said concession prices had been developed by school and tour groups.
"We hope that at least 30,000 will visit the display," he said.
"That will have a side benefit of bringing thousands of people to the Maryborough CBD and will be an added attraction to entice people off the Bruce Hwy into the city."
Cr Loft has committed $49,000 of his discretionary funds towards the project.
