Search still on for thieves who stole Bay church's safe

POLICE are still searching for thieves who stole a safe from the Hervey Bay Uniting Church about three weeks ago.

Staff at the church on November 11 discovered thieves had broken into the church through the toilets and smashed through a wall and took the safe.

The safe contained a small amount of cash and the church's important documents.

It was the second time the church had been broken into in a matter of weeks.

If you have any information on the break-in call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Police Link on 131 444.
