Second break-in into bakery in one month

GAIL Sauer's Bakery Cafe has had a brush with crime, with offenders breaking into the Maryborough business between 9.45am yesterday and 7.45am today.

However, police said the offenders didn't actually take any goods, despite the Chronicle mentioning the bakery as a top place to buy a pie on the Fraser Coast just days ago.

The offenders gained entry through a side door to the Lennox St premises.

The side door has been damaged as a result.

This was the second break-in incident to the bakery in the past month.

Anything with information on the offenders is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
