Serial pest Peter Hore strikes again, at ICAC inquiry

THE man who disrupted the funeral of INXS star Michael Hutchence has struck again, this time injuring a security guard during a scuffle at the anti-corruption hearings in Sydney.

Peter Hore started screaming from the public gallery at the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) hearing in Sydney, the ABC reported.

About an hour into this morning's proceeding, Hore screamed about his "housemate being murdered", saying "don't assault me" and "I'm Peter Hore, serial pest".

It eventually took six ICAC staff to escort him from the hearing room.

One guard needed medical treatment after receiving an injury which left him bleeding from the head.

Hore has disrupted other public events, including sporting fixtures.

Commissioner Megan Latham has adjourned the hearing until this afternoon.

"There are a number of staff who are quite traumatised," she said.

Yesterday, Liberal Senator Arthur Sinodinos denied he knew about donations a company he was director of made to the New South Wales Liberal Party, while he was the party's treasurer.

Senator Sinodinos was the latest high-profile witness at the inquiry into the dealing of Australian Water Holdings on Thursday.

The company has been at the centre of allegations involving potential corruption, and has been significantly linked to the family of former state Labor minister Eddie Obeid Snr.

The senator, who stepped aside from his position as Assistant Treasurer due to the inquiry, repeated a statement he made to the Senate during the hearings that he had no knowledge of the donations.
