VIDEO: Severe storms roll towards Toowoomba, Warwick
UPDATE 6:55 PM
THUNDERSTORMS are continuing to move east towards Warwick and Toowoomba.
They are forecast to affect Warwick and Toowoomba by 7:25 pm and the area northeast of Warwick by 7:55 pm.
UPDATE 6.30PM: Severe thunderstorms are rolling across the Darling Downs and towards Toowoomba.
The Bureau of Meteorology warns of damaging winds and large hailstorms in an alert issued about 6.20pm.
"Damaging winds, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones are likely," the severe thunderstorm warning states.

3.15PM: Heavy rain and hail have hit parts of the Darling Downs this afternoon as thunderstorms roll across the region.
Large hailstones hit Stanthorpe about 2.45pm accompanied by heavy rainfall.
There are reports of localised flooding in the main street of Stanthorpe.
A severe thunderstorm warning remains in place for much of the Darling Downs.
2PM: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Darling Downs with authorities predicting hail and damaging winds.
The warning was issued by the Bureau of Meteorology at 2pm.
Authorities warn that thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and large hailstones over the next several hours.
Locations that may be affected include Roma, Stanthorpe, St George and Goondiwindi.
