Share your youngsters’ triumphs on our website

EDITORIAL: We had a great response to our call for photos of the region's best views with more than 90 images submitted.

So continuing the spirit of public participation, we'd like parents and school staff to showcase the success of the region's youngsters.

Whether a great performance at a school sports carnival, helping out in the community, or academic success at school, we want to celebrate the efforts of our youth.

We have a direct way for you to share your news and photos through Your Story and Share a Photo on the website.

Already, readers have begun to use the feature to share their news and photos and you can see their contributions by clicking on the Your Story link under the Local Life tab on the home page.

Links to Share Your Photo and Your Story can also be found on the home page of the website, just under the list of most popular stories on the right.

To share your news, you must first be registered on our site so you have your own login.

You can do that straight from the share your photo or story section.

There is no cost to register.

You can also post an event or a public notice, for free, to let people know what's going on in the community.

It's all about creating a closer knit community - one that celebrates its success every day.
