Showers expected, but shouldn't interrupt weekend events

OTHER than a shower or two, we can expect a mostly fine weekend weather wise on the Fraser Coast for a pumping weekend of event action.

As PBR and Pubfest get ready to kick off, the Bureau of Meteorology is predicting a couple of showers for the region with top temperatures of 28 degrees.

If the showers come as predicted (50% chance), they're expected to happen in the morning and a possible afternoon shower.

The rain isn't expected to interrupt the weekend events.

Winds have dropped to light after stronger wind warning earlier in the week.
