Six crashes on Hervey Bay roads in the past week

POLICE have warned drivers to slow down and remember the fatal five causes of crashes after six traffic crashes on different streets in Hervey Bay in the past week.

The crash sites were Torquay Rd in Pialba, Chapel Rd and Main St in Nikenbah, Old Maryborough Rd and Tooth St in Pialba and Bideford St and Woodland Cl in Torquay.

Speeding, drink and drug driving, distraction and inattention, failing to wear a seatbelt and driving while fatigued make up the fatal five.
