AUSSIE RULES

When: From 9.30am, Saturday.

Where: NE Mclean Oval, Hervey Bay

Details: The Bombers host the junior AFL Wide Bay preliminary finals, as well as the QFA Wide Bay Sunshine Coast reserve grade preliminary final.

Cost: Free to watch.



FOOTBALL

When: From 8.30am, Saturday

Where: Hervey Bay Sports Club

Details: Fraser Coast football clubs vie for a place in next week's grand final. The action starts at 8.30am with the under-12s, with the Wide Bay League 2 game between KSS Jets and Fraser Flames at 6.30pm.

Cost: Free to watch.



HOCKEY

When: All day, Saturday

Where: Hervey Bay and Maryborough hockey fields.

Details: Hervey Bay's senior preliminary finals will be played at 5pm (women) and 6.30pm (men). Maryborough's preliminary finals will start with under-11 girls at 8am, and culminates with the Div 1 men's game at 5pm.

NETBALL

When: From 9am, Saturday

Where: Hervey Bay Netball

Details: Grand final day! The action starts at 9am, and culminates with Div 1 at 1.30pm.

RUGBY LEAGUE

When: From 12.25pm, Saturday

Where: Eskdale Park, Maryborough

Details: Four Fraser Coast teams vie for a place in the Bundaberg Junior Rugby League grand finals. The U13s kick off the action with a local derby between Hervey Bay and Wallaroos.



TRIATHLON

When: From 8am, Sunday

Where: River Heads Sports Reserve

Details: Hervey Bay Triathlon Club hosts its first event of the year.
