Slow start to first day of 2010

SOME mornings are easier than others but for four Coast locals, Torquay beach offered some New Year’s Day solace yesterday.

The recovery was a slow and methodical process for James Lee, Stacey Suddaby, Danielle Suddaby and Roy Kimmel who reluctantly exposed some weary eyes to the afternoon sun.

By that stage a late, late greasy breakfast was on board – at 2pm.

It was all for a good cause after the group had partied hard and deep into the night before.

They didn’t quite reach the 5.30am night club witching hour but New Year’s Eve was declared a triumph by all four ... despite the pain.
