WHEN you are from a small regional town how do you grow your brand to an international audience? How much influence can an Instagram account have on the success of your business and your brand? All these questions plus many more will be brought to the surface at Event Ko's next Influencers Series - Interior Design.

Toowoomba interior design influencer Aaron Bourne will be joined by Sydney's Sally Rhys-Jones on September 29 at Tapestry in Toowoomba.

Mr Bourne has become a social media sensation through his business Harold's Finishing Touches while Sally Rhys Jones has risen to prominence with her brand Rhys/Jones Interior Architecture.

Aaron Bourne has built his brand on Instagram and now has almost 34,000 followers.

"The term influencer is interesting, I wouldn't like to big note but I feel in my visual interior world due to the exposure of Instagram you can really help launch and push styles and trends," Mr Bourne said.

"I'm really looking forward to this event and I simply love Instagram and I love interiors so I feel there is nothing better than a chat about the two of them combined."

Sally Rhys-Jones, who is based in Sydney has built a social media following as a leading interior architect.

"This will be my first visit to Toowoomba, I am a huge fan of the style of architecture in Queensland and the beautiful old houses," Ms Rhys-Jones said.

"Really looking forward to chatting with everyone on the night about my work, social media & 'keeping it real'.

"Recently Instagram has been one of the most common places new clients have found me. It's basically the best portfolio you can have as it shows not only your finished work but how you work!

"Design is an industry where people really have to put their trust in you. Clients can spend months & sometimes years working with you they need to know you'll get along - Instagram is a chance to show people your work but also an authentic side to you & who you are at & away from work as well."
