Speedway hosts third and final SKAA karts round

MARYBOROUGH Speedway will host the third and final round of the SKAA Karts Winter Nationals on Saturday.

Maryborough driver Blake Hancock has a firm grip on the standards class, though other categories are still up for grabs on the final day of racing.

The juniors may be the most hotly contested, with Kacy-Lee Black, Patrick Ray and Ashleigh Moller among the top contenders.

About 54 drivers have nominated for the event, which is scheduled to start at 12.30pm.

It will be Maryborough Speedway's last event before what is expected to be a huge solo and sidecar bikes event on September 23.

Gates open at 10am. Entry is free.
