Sport is on the menu for students

FRIDAY afternoons have proved to be a big hit with Maryborough primary school students.

They’ve been hitting the sporting grounds rather than the books for the past five weeks.

Interschool sport has been on the menu for Maryborough Zone primary school students in grades six and seven and there has been plenty of sports for them to tuck into.

Sports included softball, cricket, touch, Aussie rules and basketball, at various venues throughout the Heritage City.

Students from Granville, Riverside, Sunbury, West, Tinana, Parke, St Mary’s, Albert and Central all took part.
