Classic Country Music Stampede to celebrate sixth year

MARYBOROUGH'S Classic Country Music Stampede will return for its sixth year and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.

It will be held from June 7-9 and organisers Baz and Joy Short are just as excited as ever.

The country music stampede started its life in Gympie, but after three years it made the move to Maryborough and Baz and Joy say they couldn't be happier with that decision.

The event will give the Fraser Coast public the chance to see some of Australia's finest country music performers in two days of action.

It will include artists such as Reg Poole, Sandy Atkinson, Lindsay Waddington, Sharon Smith and many more.

Tickets to the event will cost $45 for the full weekend, $10 for the Friday night events, or $20 or either Saturday or Sunday.
