Stolen car smashed

A CAR that has reportedly been parked outside a Hervey Bay pizza shop for more than three months has been smashed by vandals.

Staff at Domino’s Pizza on Boat Harbour Drive say they have made several calls to police and Qld Transport about the vehicle to no avail.

Police yesterday said the blue Hyundai Excel was unregistered but they were trying to contact the previous owner.

They said if the owner could not be contacted they would request the Fraser Coast Regional Council have the vehicle towed.
