Stop and shop parks set up for RVs in Maryborough CBD
FOUR Stop and Shop parks for RVs have been opened in the Maryborough CBD at the Alan and June Brown Carpark in Kent Street.
The 'Stop and Shop' concept encourages self-contained RVs and caravans to stop and explore the CBD.
Council requires the owners to spend $10 at a local business and show their receipt at the Visitor Information Centre to obtain a 'Stop and Shop' voucher to stay for up to 20 hours in the designated parking areas.
These are on top of the designated short-stay caravan and RV parks in the McDowell car park and along Lennox Street.
Three Stop and Shop sites are operating at the Hervey Bay Visitor Information Centre car park on the Maryborough to Hervey Bay Road.
