VOTERS on the Fraser Coast favour a Coalition government ahead of the Federal election, an unofficial APN online survey has found.

The voluntary survey ran from Friday to Tuesday this week on APN websites including the Fraser Coast Chronicle and drew 199 responses.

The Coalition had the support of 51% of respondents.

Only 24% said they would vote Labor.

Of the minor parties, 12% of participants said they would vote for the Palmer United Party, while 4.6% said they would vote for Katter's Australia Party.

While 3% said they would vote for The Greens, 3% remained undecided.

Fewer than 8% of participants said they were likely to change their vote between now and election day.

Overall across Queensland, 44% of respondents said they would vote for the Coalition, while 31% said they would vote for Labor.
