Suspicious grass fire in bushland at Eli Waters

FIRE crews had to use a 4WD to gain access to a suspicious grass fire in bushland at Eli Waters in the early hours of Wednesday morning. 

Luckily the small grass fire was slow moving. 

The cause of the suspicious fire is unknown. 

Crews were called to the blaze after a report was made by a passer-by around 12.30pm. 

The fire was out by about 1.15am. 

It is a timely reminder to call 000 for emergencies.
