Swap meet into overdrive

HERVEY Bay High School’s oval was transformed into a collector’s delight on Saturday when the school P&C had their second annual swap meet.

Hundreds of bargain hunters swooped on the stalls of second-hand goods which included antiques, collectables, clothing and household items.

There was also a range of new items, home baked treats, plants and produce.

The P&C decided to hold the swap meet after their first one last year was such a huge success.

It was held at the school at Pialba from 6am to 2pm.
