Talks about fiddler crabs and the environment at forum

LEARN about the local coral and marine life, shorebirds, the Mary River turtle, patterned fens, fiddler crabs, effects of marine debris and the Great Sandy Marine Park at a forum in Urangan.

The Lower Mary River Land and Catchment Care Group is hosting an environment forum titled From the River to the Sea on March 8 at the Urangan Community Centre at the botanic gardens in Elizabeth St.

More than 10 speakers have been lined up to talk at the forum which runs from 8.30am to 3pm.

Entry is by gold coin donation and bookings are essential because spaces are limited.

Bookings must be made by Monday, March 3, for catering purposes and can be made by phoning Lesley on 0417 633 281.
