Spirit Whispers to Charmaine

SPIRIT medium Charmaine Wilson will connect Fraser Coast residents with loved ones on the other side when she brings her Spirit Whispers show to town next month.

Touted as Australia’s best spirit medium, Ms Wilson will attempt up to 15 audience readings at Maryborough’s Brolga Theatre on February 19.

The award-winning psychic said her show will help the living understand and overcome grief and guilt after the loss of a loved one.

“It’s quite similar to Crossing Over with John Edward,” she said. “I’m drawn to an audience member and then I receive signs, feelings and symptoms from the spirit world.

“I can feel how they died and I see a vision of how they perceive themselves.”

While she speaks to spirits daily, Ms Wilson said this had not always been the case.

“It was in 2002 when I understood and realised that I had the ability to help people understand the death of their loved one.”

Since embracing her gift she has been named the 2005 Australian Psychic of the Year and 2009 Queensland Psychic of the Year.

In 2008 she was the winner of The One, a nationwide search for Australia’s most gifted psychic.

Ms Wilson said she was currently working with about 70 men and women to help them come to terms with the death of a loved one.

She said she would connect as many audience members as she could with the spirit world.

“I average anywhere between 10 and 15 people. But the beauty is that out of the 10 to 15 people, I find a lot of people have come for the one spirit. Like a whole family might come to hear from a young fella who died in a car accident.”

Ms Wilson said people who had recently lost someone close would find the show most beneficial.

“A lot of people find it comforting to be able to connect with someone who was close. But I find a lot of people come to my shows out of curiosity.”

Tickets for Spirit Whispers are $45. To book visit www.brolgatheatre.org or call 41226001.
