Teen driver in Scarness crash had cannabis: police

TWO cars crashed at 4.43am on the corner of Frank and Freshwater Sts in Scarness on Sunday.

Hervey Bay police said one of the drivers, a 19-year-old Point Vernon woman, had a blood alcohol reading of 0.109% and she was found with cannabis.

The teenager was also charged with driving without due care and attention.
