Teen injured when car runs into power pole

A 21-YEAR-OLD driver has been charged with driving with undue care and attention and driving an unregistered vehicle after the car he was driving rammed a power pole in Warwick overnight.

Warwick police report the car slammed into the pole on Glengallan Rd about 8pm Saturday leaving a 16-year-old girl with hip and pelvic injuries.

She was taken to Warwick Hospital for treatment but her injuries are not considered life threatening.

The 21-year-old man drive will face Warwick Magistrates Court later this month.
