Thanks Councillor Trevor McDonald

On Thursday morning I discovered a dead bat in my yard and with the help of a neighbour, put it in a plastic bag.

I called the local council and they said it was not their responsibility.

I called the Health Department who said it was not theirs either.

I phoned Councillor Trevor McDonald who promptly came over and removed the bat which was already "high" and would have been a lot worse had it been left until Monday for garbage collection.

With all these so called departments, not one of them would help.

My thanks to Councillor McDonald for his excellent service! I know where my vote goes in future!
