Wallet stolen from home while man asleep on lounge

BETWEEN 10pm and 11pm on April 8, a break-in happened at Rocky St, Maryborough.

Someone entered the dwelling by an unlocked but closed rear screen door.

The person found a wallet on a table in the dining room.

The person then left in an unknown direction by unknown means.

The victim stated that he fell asleep on the lounge about 10pm and was woken by the sound of a car idling in the street.

Some time after 11pm he noticed his property missing.

The victim stated that the vehicle sounded like a V8.

The wallet was found in the morning but money was missing.

Burglary with break-in

SOME time between April 2 and April 12, items were stolen from a property at Kidd Ave, Maryborough.

Someone removed a number of flyscreens from windows and attempted to open the closed windows.

The person managed to remove a piece of wood which was acting as a lock on a toilet window and entered the dwelling.

Once inside the offender rummaged through several bedrooms.

A quantity of jewellery was taken.

BETWEEN April 10 and 12, unknown offenders gained entry to a property on Kidd Ave, Maryborough.

The offenders entered the backyard of the property through one of the side gates and lifted a window which was unlocked.

The offenders went through cupboards in the dining room, hallway and kitchen, entered the lounge room, pool room and office.

The offenders went upstairs and went through the rooms, taking items from a jewellery box. Other items of jewellery were also taken from the main bedroom.

Enter with intent

AN OFFENDER smashed through the front glass window of the Bauple tennis club.

The offender then climbed through the opening and ransacked the property.

A witness saw a male suspiciously acting around the premises.

The male appeared to be breaking in so the informant called police.

A suspect was arrested by police.

ABOUT 3.30am on April 13, an offender gained entry to a room by opening a security door.

The victim woke to see the offender squatting in front of their face beside the bed, going through the victim's purse.

The offender saw the victim wake and jumped to his feet and ran back through the open screen door and left the house.

Hervey Bay police attended and arrested a suspect.

AN OFFENDER entered a Scarborough St home in Scarness between 10pm on April 13 and 8am on April 14.

The offender took a TV from a small coffee table in the main lounge area.

No other property was taken.

The victim said he regularly left the front sliding doors open to allow breeze through the home.

BETWEEN 1.06am and 11pm on April 14, an offender entered a Walkers Rd home in Urangan.

The person used a chair to stand below the window and cut the fly screen of the window.

They gained entry to the bathroom.

The offender rummaged through drawers and cupboards before removing money from a wallet and purse of the man and woman living in the home.

The person then went into the child's bedroom and took a money tin.

The offender opened the tin and took about $750 from the tin. A Seiko watch was also stolen.

Burglary and break-in

A HOME in Pialba was broken into at Oceanblue Bvd between 4.40pm and 8.55pm on April 14.

Upon returning home, the woman noticed clothing on the floor beside the bed which she had not been left there.

An unknown offender had rummaged through her jewellery and searched through her walk-in wardrobe.

The offender broke a towel rail in the ensuite and left a shoe print on the floor.
