POLICE BEAT: Fire extinguishers set off inside building

Mundubbera break and enter

FIRE extinguishers were set off at a building on Lyons St, covering the internal areas in powder between February 8-9.

Offenders jemmied open the rear wooden door and damaged the lock to enter.

Maryborough break and enter

A HANDBAG was stolen from a unit on Tooley St. Between 10.30-11am on February 5.

Thieves entered via an unlocked door, took a number of items from the back and threw it onto a footpath before running off.

CLEANING products were taken from a Kent St home between February 6-7.

Thieves also made off with a wallet, money and palm trees which had been planted in pots.

Tinana break and enter

EXTENSIVE damage was done to the sports shed at Tinana State School between February 4-5.

Offenders forced two roller doors from their hinges to gain entry into the shed.

Boonooroo stealing

A CAMPER trailer was stolen from a property on Rawson St on February 8.

The dark grey trailer with the Queensland registration DR9989 was carrying a silver tool box, water tank and pump and was chained to a fence when it was taken.

Torquay stealing

CAR windows were smashed outside AquaVue cafe on the Esplanade on February 7.

Thieves made off with an MP3 player.

Maryborough stealing

A MAN was seen stashing Trojan bolt cutters down his pants during a trip to Bunnings on February 6.

The man is described as caucasian with a tanned complexion and aged in his early 30s.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, white cap and blue jeans.

Kawungan stealing

A MINI bike was stolen from a home in Grevillea St on February 8.

The blue bike had been advertised for sale on the front lawn.

Eli Waters stealing

KAYAKS were taken from a home which backs onto a canal between February 7-8.

The Sea Breeze kayaks were green and pink.

Pialba wilful damage

WINDOWS were smashed in cars in the car park outside Stockland Shopping Centre between February 6-7.

Both cars were company vehicles.

Maryborough wilful damage

A FIRE was lit in the toilet block at Maryborough Town Hall on February 8.

Vandals piled newspapers and magazines up against the wall of a cubicle and set them alight.

Some of the walls were damaged by smoke.
