POLICE BEAT: Rock smashed through glass door of Pialba home
THIEVES used a rock to smash through a glass door at a home on Winchelsea St between March 27 and 29.
Once inside the offenders ransacked the main bedroom looking for jewellery before going to the lounge room.
FISH nets were stolen from a boat at a home on John St between March 15-28.
The offender walked down the driveway at the right hand side of the property leading to the rear garden and took two buckets containing the nets before leaving.
A WOMAN was sitting in her dining room at Olive Crt about 11pm on March 28 when she looked up and saw a stranger at her window.
When the woman screamed, the suspect ran off towards Romney St.
He was wearing a black cap, glasses and was skinny with facial hair.
A QUIET thief took a handbag from a unit on Stephenson St where the occupants were sleeping.
The theft occurred some time between 10.30pm on March 29 and 7am on March 30.
CASH was stolen from a home on Pilot St on March 30.
Thieves took $700 from a wallet on a side table and left.
Maryborough wilful damage
A DOOR was damaged by fire at Tinana State School between March 28-30.
Offenders attempted to set alight a laminated piece of paper that was stuck on the door and caused charring around the area.
AN UNLOCKED sliding door provided easy access for thieves at a home on King St on April 1.
Once inside, thieves stole a laptop, iPod, jewellery and a camera.
