Diesel syphoned from bulldozer, fridge taken from caravan


Steal from vehicles

About 340 litres of diesel fuel was syphoned from machinery on Easter Rd, Bauple between November 12 and November 27.

Unknown offenders have taken the fuel from a bulldozer, a Massey Ferguson tractor and a drott.

The thieves have broken locks to gain entry to the fuel cap areas.

The machinery was locked at the time.



Motor vehicle steal

A red Harley Davidson motorbike has been taken from a Urangan St home between Thursday, November 26 and 1.30pm on November 27.

The thieves took the 1982 001, Sportster from the driveway of the Torquay home.

The motorbike is red, in rusty condition with a brand new cooler, new coil and leads, new spark plug leads and brake pads.

The registration plates are still attached.

The bike's registration is HD435, but the motorcycle is unregistered.



Break and enter

Thieves have taken a wallet and pair of pants from Nullor St home after entering through an unlocked door.

The pants were hanging over the edge of a bed when they were taken.

The items were taken between 7.30pm and 11pm on November 27.



Wilful damage

A beer bottle has been thrown through the window of a Robert St home about 11pm on November 27.

The vandal approached the home from an unknown direction before throwing the XXXX Summer beer bottle.

The bottle broke two glass louvres before it landed in a bedroom of the home.

The offender left on foot in an unknown direction.

Break and enter

Unknown offenders have broken into a Maryanne Crt shed between 5pm on November 25 and 8am on November 27.

It is not know if anything was taken during the break in.

The shed was locked at the time.

Would-be thieves have used an unknown implement to jemmy open the back door of an Elizabeth St business between 3.30 and 5am on November 28.

However, the attempted thieves were unable to gain entry to the business.


Point Vernon

Steal from caravan

A portable fridge was taken from under the awning of a caravan on Corser St about 10pm.

The caravan occupants heard a noise but did not go out and investigate.

The fridge was locked with a cord and lock which has been cut to gain access to the fridge.

The Waeco fridge contained about six bottles of beer and a couple of bottles of wine.


H. Urangan

Break and enter

A mobile phone and jewellery was taken from a Dayman St home between 2.30 and 3pm on November 28.

The thieves have entered the home through an unlocked door before taking the items.


Point Vernon

Break and enter

Attempted thieves have taken the screen from the front window of an Anchorage Circuit home between 11pm on November 28 and 7am on November 29.

The offenders have not gained access to the home.



Wilful damage

Vandals have broken the rear right quarter glass of a white Ford Transit van parked on O'Rourke St between 3.45pm on November 27 and 6.30am on November 30. The van had registration 313 TRR.



Steal from dwelling

A pushbike has been stolen from the back of home on Jensen Dr between 4pm on November 27 and 6am on November 29.
