The Coast's big shave

BALD and beautiful will be the look of choice on the Fraser Coast as World’s Greatest Shave participants face the clippers from today.

Brave shave fundraisers will see their locks fall to the floor as crunch time arrives at public shave locations across the nation over the next three days.

Thousands have committed to shave, colour or wax their hair to raise much-needed funds to support patients and their families living with leukaemia, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders and continue research into finding less invasive treatments and a cure.

Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland Chief Executive Officer Peter Johnstone encouraged the community to get behind the brave shavers and join in the excitement by visiting local public Shave events this week.
