Zonta puts love in the air

THE MARY River will be an ideal backdrop for an afternoon of wining and dining on the most romantic day of the year, Valentine’s Day, when the Zonta Club of Maryborough holds its Red, White and the Blues.

With music by Ambience, the afternoon in the foyer of the Brolga Theatre on February 14 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm promises to delight.

Tickets will cost $20 per person and patrons are encouraged to bring their own platters of nibbles to enjoy with drinks bought from the bar. Café Bella will also be available for those wanting to share a meal before or after the event.

Tickets are available from Mur-Lyn Fashion Accessories (4121 3794) in Kent Street and Unique Garages (4123 0168) in Richmond Street.

This is the first fundraiser planned by Zonta for 2010 and proceeds will be distributed to support the advancement of women and children in the local community.
