Thieves cut through screen door while residents are home

SNEAKY thieves cut their way through the screen door of a Pialba home before stealing property.

Police said the occupants were home at the time of the incident between 10pm and 11pm on Friday.

The robbers not only cut their way into the Eley Crt home but also went through the occupants' car which was parked outside.

Police have reminded people to be security conscious regardless of whether they are home or not.
