Thieves tuck in and steal $1300 worth of food from school

ABOUT $1300 worth of food was stolen from the Torquay State School tuckshop on the weekend.

Hervey Bay police Acting Sergeant Sonia Edwards said the items included frozen pizzas, poppers and milk.

She said the items were stolen from the tuckshop's freezer and storeroom.

Sgt Edwards asked the community to be aware around schools during the school holidays.
