TWILIGHT MARKETS
When: Friday, from
Where: Urangan Marina
What: A small but fun market is held every Friday at Urangan, with stalls offering toys, jewellery, wallets, charms, children's clothes and much more.
Cost: Free.

 

LAST FRIDAY CLUB
When: Friday, from 5pm.
Where: Brolga Theatre, 5 Walker St, Pialba.
What: Catch up with friends and unwind every last Friday of the month. Relax to cool tunes played by talented local musician. Chilled beverages and share platters available.
Cost: Free.

 

MUNCHIES IN THE BAY CAR MEET AND GREET
When: Friday, 6pm.
Where:  United Service Station, Eli Waters.
What:   Go along and check out a display of local cars from hot rods to motorbikes and in between. Just go for a look or put your pride and joy on show. Have a chat to like-minded people.
Everyone is invited to join in a cruise down the Esplanade at the conclusion of the event. There is a food van and refreshments available.
 Cost:  Free.

 

SATURDAY

PIER PARK COMMUNITY MARKETS
When: Saturday from 7am to 1pm.
Where: Pier Park, Urangan.
What: The Pier Park Community Markets operate each Saturday.
Cost: Free.

 

GET YOUR CAR SERVICED
When: Saturday, from 9am until 3pm.
Where: Bay City Quality Mobile Mechanics at the Mark Jorgensen Worshop, 83 Islander Rd, Pialba.
What: Get your car serviced and washed for a discount. The mechanics will do a 100 point safety check on your vehicle for a reduced cost.Proceeds will go to the Hearts On Our Sleeves Charity, which helps educate and care hundreds of kids in the Phillipines. Keep hunger at bay with a gold coin sausage sizzle.
Cost: A small car service is $150 and large car service are $200.     

 

HERVEY BAY PARKRUN
When: Saturday, 7am.
Where: Lions Park, Esplanade, Urangan and Anzac Park's Ululah Lagoon, Cheapside St.
What: It is a 5km run. It's you against the clock.
Cost: Free.

MOTHER'S DAY CRAFT FAIR
When: Saturday and Sunday.
Where: Hervey Bay RSL, Torquay Rd, Pialba.
What: Browse and buy from an abundance of craft stalls, with items all handmade by local members.
Cost: Free entry.

 

YENGARIE ALPACAS OPEN WEEKEND
When: Saturday to Monday, 9am to 4pm each day.
Where: 65 Station Rd, Yengarie.
What: An open weekend to promote the alpaca industry. The weekend will include the chance to pat and feed alpacas as well as learn more about these unique creatures.

PRO BULL RIDING
When: Saturday, gates open at 5pm with the show start at 7pm.
Where: Seafront Oval, Pialba.
What: Check out all the action at this year's Pro Bull Riding Live Series Tour.

COUNTRY MUSIC CONCERT
When: Saturday from 1pm.
Where: Senior Citizens Hall, Alice St, Maryborough.
What: Guest artists are Min Min branch artists, along with local musicians including Doug Alexander. Enjoy a gold coin afternoon smoko, raffles, lucky door.
Cost: $3 entry.

 

SUNDAY

NIKENBAH MARKETS
When: Sunday, 6am.
Where: Hervey Bay Animal Refuge, Maryborough-Hervey Bay Rd, Nikenbah.
What: Items for sale at these popular markets include arts and crafts, fresh produce, trash and treasure, cakes, jams and much more.
Cost: Free entry.

 

WALK WITH RAMBLERS
When: Sunday, 9am.
Where: Meet at the Pines, Esplanade, Pialba.
What: Enjoy a walk along the beach or shady footpaths, followed by a BYO morning tea.

ITALIAN LONG LUNCH IN THE WINERY
When: Sunday.
Where: 8 Mango Hill Dr, Childers.
What: Come along and enjoy a little bit of La Dolce Vita. Join wine-making team Terry and Mary Byrne at Hill of Promise Winery Childers for an Italian Long Lunch in The Winery. On offer is a three-course set menu based on local, seasonal produce matched with their award-winning Hill of Promise wines and fortified drinks. Where: Scarness Stage, Esplanade.
What: Hervey Bay Arts Council proudly presents Sunday in the Park on the first Sunday of each month at Scarness Park, from 11am for food and noon for music, with arts and craft stallholders, music by fantastic bands and a sausage sizzle by various community organisations.

WIDE BAY RODDERS SHOW AND SHINE
When: Sunday, from 9am until 1pm.
Where: Pialba State School, corner of Beach Rd and Alice St, Pialba. Enter off Beach Rd.
What: Check out more than 400 vintage and modified cars and hot rods parked at the school oval. Plenty of prize giveaways. Why not show your own classic car off on the oval?
