What: There are plenty of stalls offering top quality, wonderful and unique products.

HISTORY TOUR

When: Saturday, from 9am.

Where: Meet at the Torquay jetty.

What: Take a History of Torquay walking tour with historians George Seymour and John Andersen.

Cost: Free.

 

FAMILY FUN DAY

When: Saturday, 9am to 3pm.

Where: Seafront Oval, Pialba.

What: Take the kids for rides, games, fun and good food. All dollars raised will go towards a machine to screen jaundice in babies at the Hervey Bay Hospital.

Cost: Gold coin entry.

 

GROW VEGETABLES

When: Saturday, 8 to 11am.

Where: Lupton Park Community Gardens, 45 Aberdeen Ave, Maryborough.

What: Grow and share organic produce, make new friends and enjoy the outdoors.

Cost: Free.

 

SHOP BROMELIADS

When: Saturday, from 1pm.

Where: 170 Burrum River Rd, Torbanlea.

What: Browse plants for sale.

Cost: Free to look.

 

TRY OUTRIGGING

When: Saturday, from 8am.

Where: Next to the Hervey Bay Boat Club, Buccaneer Dr, Urangan

What: Learn how to paddle an outrigger canoe.

Cost: Free.

 

GATAKERS BY NIGHT

When: Saturday, from 5 to 9pm.

Where: Gatakers Artspace, 311 Kent St, Maryborough.

What: Enjoy the laid-back vocals of Sunshine Coast singer Andrea Kirwin with a slice of wood-fired pizza in hand.

Cost: Free entry.

 

FARMER'S MARKETS

When: Saturday, 7am to 1pm.

Where: Bouganvillia Dell Nursery, 94 Walkers Point Rd, Granville.

What: Farmer's Market with homemade produce, locally grown fruit and veg, pets and accessories, free jumping castle, and more.

Cost: Free entry.

 

SUNDAY

KOALA MARKETS

When: Sunday, 6am.

Where: Kruger Crt, Urangan.

What: Items for sale at these popular markets include arts and crafts, fresh produce, trash and treasure, cakes, jams and much more.

Cost: Free entry.

 

REIKI HEALING

When: Sunday, 9am to 1pm.

Where: Hervey Bay Community Centre, Charles St, Pialba.

What: Fraser Coast Reiki practitioners will volunteer their services.

Cost: Donation.

 

BLUES CLUB

When: Sunday, from 6.00pm.

Where: Z-PAC Theatre, Zephyr St, Hervey Bay.

What: Test out your vocal or musical abilities on the stage.

Cost: Member entry is $2 and $5 for non-members.

 

MINIATURE MARKETS

When: Sunday, 8am to 1pm.

Where: 16 Peters Ln, Pialba.

What: Shop more than ten stalls.. A sausage sizzle and coffee van will keep hunger at bay.

Cost: Free to look.

 

MOTORBIKE RIDE

When: Sunday, from 7.30am.

Where: Meet at the Maryborough McDonalds, corner of Alice and Ferry Streets.

What: Enjoy a social ride through to Ban Ban Springs on your own motorbike with the team from Sunstate Motorcycles.
