A Night In Nepal is theme of Forget Me Not charity ball

TICKETS are selling fast for the upcoming Forget Me Not Children's Home Gala Ball.

Andrea Nave, project's manager, said the annual black tie event was shaping up to be as spectacular as ever, with nearly all 20 tables at Hervey Bay's PCYC already full.

"This year our entertainment is Mental as Anything, who are excited about coming back to the Fraser Coast," she said.

The gala ball, themed A Night In Nepal, will be held on June 29 and all money raised will go directly to the charity's work with orphans in Nepal, Uganda and India.

This will be the first time in its eight-year history the event will go ahead without the charity's founder Lars Olsen at the helm.

Mr Olsen walked away from the charity 10 months ago.

"I decided that rather than following something that was no longer my vision, as well as putting my values at jeopardy, I would step down from my position as CEO," he said.
