Toowoomba watch maker goes global with web business

A TOOWOOMBA man has started a global online business selling sunglasses and watches residents are unlikely to have seen before.

Two Dapper sells luxurious and premium bamboo and wood accessories.

Toowoomba man Cameron Blackburn's craftsmanship and quality control is his number one priority and guarantees complete satisfaction for every product he sells.

Mr Blackburn said bamboo was used widely in Asian cultures and around the world with its versatility to be made into furniture, housing and many other materials.

"Due to its lightweight but durable structure, bamboo has become popular in western products and we recognise that this wonderful resource is self sustainable," he said.

"You can feel good knowing you will have a direct impact on the world when you make a purchase of our bamboo products."

Two Dapper is becoming increasingly popular for its uniquely-crafted bamboo watches, sunglasses and other accessories.

The watches are promoted as perfect for travelling abroad, hiking, beach, camping and everyday wear.

"When you're back to the everyday grind you can always remind yourself of your journeys and adventures every time you check the time," Mr Blackburn said.

They can take up to three days to make.

After the wood goes through the drying process for half a year, it is ready to be crafted to perfection.

Two Dapper's sunglasses are also an eco-friendly purchase expertly hand crafted from 100 sustainably-farmed wood.

This makes them both lightweight and impressively strong.

The stunning polarised lenses offer protection from both UVA and UVB through UV400 protection.

Every watch and sunglasses created are different to the next due to the nature of the grain.
