Grandstand seats will cost you $90 to see Bundy NRL game
SPORT-loving Fraser Coast families will be slugged top dollar to see their NRL heroes in action.
Bundaberg Rugby League announced last week they would host the much-anticipated NRL grand final rematch at Bundaberg's Salter Oval on February 6.
It will be the only time the Brisbane Broncos and North Queensland Cowboys play before they travel to the United Kingdom for the World Club Series.
BRL president Mike Ireland revealed ticket prices would start at $40 for the pre-season fixture, with limited grandstand seating to cost a whopping $90.
Many fans have already lashed out at organisers due to the high prices, which would cost the average Fraser Coast family (2.8 persons according to the 2011 Census) about $120 for general admission or $250 for grandstand seats.

BRL are still negotiating the general ticket price for children, but they will still be slugged $90 for a grandstand seat.
When you consider a family ticket to the Indigenous All Stars game at Suncorp Stadium on February 13 will cost $127 for two adults and two children, there is a real possibility Salter Oval will not sell out.
Ireland said pricing was based on the costs BRL had to cover to hold the event relative to the revised projection of 10,000 spectators.
He said the BRL had to cover travel and accommodation of both NRL clubs, temporary grandstands, toilets, security and other infrastructure.
"I don't think the prices are too high," he said.
"We have to pay a lot of money to get them here and hold this game.
"We won't get 12,000 people for it due to workplace health and safety - it just won't happen. We'll be looking more at the 10,000 mark.
"Back in 1991 they could put people on the roof of the old grandstand but you just can't do stuff like that anymore."
The BRL are expected to make minimal profit on the event, which will be the first time an NRL trial is played in Bundaberg since 2005.
NRL and QRL's big brass are expected to be in Bundaberg for the game, and if successful could mean more future NRL games will be held in the region.
General admission tickets start from $ 40, though the BRL are still negotiating a cheaper price for children.
The BRL indicated seating would be available between the grandstand and the field, which will cost $ 50.
Temporary grandstands on the Takalvan and White St ends of Salter Oval will cost $ 60 with the main grandstand tickets to cost $90. Tickets go on sale on November 9.
