Traffic control ramped up

POLICE around the Fraser Coast have ramped up their traffic control measures as part of the second phase in the Christmas Road Safety campaign.

Phase two of the project started on Wednesday and will continue until Sunday, January 3.

During this holiday period, police are targeting high risk road user behaviour including the fatal five; speeding, fatigue, drink and drug driving, failure to wear a seat belt and distraction in an effort to minimise road trauma.
