Power restored to all but 250 customers in Maryborough

UPDATE: Power has been restored to all but 250 customers in Maryborough, Ergon Energy has reported.

Corporate communications manager Rod Rehbein said crews were continuing line patrols to find the source of the problem.

EARLIER: Police are urging Maryborough motorists to drive with caution because a blackout has knocked out traffic lights in the city.

Ergon Energy corporate communications manager Rod Rehbein said 1800 customers in the city area had been affected by the blackout which hit about 1.50pm.
