Change can give you a winter exercise glow
AS THE weather cools down, the urge to exercise dwindles, and the likelihood you'll find yourself wrapped in a blanket with a block of chocolate becomes more and more likely.
Women's Health magazine's Terrill Bruere said the unmotivating winter gloom could lead to overeating and weight gain.
The accredited dietitian said one of the keys to fighting the urge to sit on the couch was to change your exercise routine to suit the season.
"Try a class such as yoga or Tai Chi where you can exercise indoors," Ms Bruere said.
"Or dig out the old treadmill or exercise bike and use that in the comfort of your home."
Indoor exercise Pilates could also be the answer to women's exercise blues.
