Treat colleagues to feast

THIS March Hervey Bay workplace Centacare will take part in A Taste of Harmony, Australia’s biggest celebration of cultural diversity at work.

A Taste of Harmony is a week of lunchtime feasting that begins on March 15 and ends with National Harmony Day on March 21.

Centacare Hervey Bay will host a colourful luncheon with staff coming to work dressed in traditional ethnic attire and bringing foods from their cultural heritage to share.

In its second year, A Taste of Harmony is an initiative of the Scanlon Foundation and is supported by the Australian Multicultural Foundation and the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

Last year, more than 60,000 Australians shared deliciously diverse lunches.

Register your workplace at www.tasteofharmony.org.au– then invite your workmates to cook up a storm for your event in March.
