Might be time for Barry to buy a lotto ticket...

BARRY Colhoun must be thanking his lucky stars after a tree crushed his tent at Inskip Point.

His father John said family and friends were sitting about 6m from the tent when the tree crashed onto it at Inskip Point on October 11.

"Had he been in the tent at the time, he possibly could have been killed," John said.

"We notified the rangers at Rainbow Beach, who arrived and removed the tree."
